VETERANS DAY, ESSAY CONTEST
HOSTED BY THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, FOURTH DEGREE

Essay Contest Eligibility: All youth in Kindergarten through 12th grades of St. Therese are eligible and encouraged to participate. 

The Theme is “What is the Meaning of Veterans Day (Explain Veterans Day) and Why do we Observe It.”

Age Categories: 

K – 3rd Grade – submit at 9.5" x 11" poster – winner receives $100

4th – 8th Grade – submit a one-page essay – winner receives $200

9th – 12th Grade – submit an essay between 300 and 1000 words – winner receives $300

All entries should be turned in to the parish office by October 31, 2024. No late entries will be accepted. 

Winners to be awarded on or after November 11, 2024.
