Help Support Seminarian Education

On Easter Sunday, a second collection will be taken up in support of Diocesan Seminarian Education. Though we are one of the smallest dioceses in the U.S., we are blessed with a rich harvest of vocations to the priesthood. Presently, we have 14 seminarians enrolled in studies—3 who will be ordained to the priesthood shortly. And God willing, we will hope to have 15 seminarians for the 2023-24 academic year. But with this wonderful blessing comes a financial challenge. The cost of educating just one seminarian is over $50,000. Your investment in the future of the priesthood is greatly needed to help guarantee the growth of the Catholic faith in East Tennessee.
